This is one of the new “Short or weekend “ Desert Tours at 3 Days / 2 Nights starting and ending in Errachiddia Airport we call it. This trip finally will make it easier for you to avoid driving all the way around 11-12 hours driving from Marrakech down to Erg Chebbi or from Erg Chebbi to Marrakech… instead taking you on a two hour drive from Merzouga to Errachiddia airport and one hour flight from Errachiddia to Marrakech back home which is very comfortable. This trip will give you a chance to discover most of the beautiful sites, from oasis of palms, ziz valley, minerals and fossils, local markets of rissani, see nomadic lifestyle, experience a camel trekking to see the beautiful sunset and sunrise with an overnight in a desert luxury camping with all facilities private toilet and shower …..Enjoying and having fun of riding ATV, BUGGIES, HORSES…ect.

NOTE: This trip can be extended to a week or up to number of days in your holiday as the flight will be coming from Marrakech on Friday and Back on Sunday. In addition to a flight every morning during the week from Errachiddia to Casablanca if you want to change your destination.

Day 1

Day 1 – Errachiddia Airport – Ziz Valley –Erfoud /Merzouga

Our experienced, knowledge and English, French, Spanish driver/ guide welcome you at the airport and he will drive you throught valleys of palm trees. In the town of Erfoud, we will visit an amazing fossil factory and learn how they excavate, polish, and shape trilobites, orthoceras, ammonites, and other fossils into beautiful objects. We will continue on to Merzouga where you will have your overnight. Dinner and Breakfast in your Riad.

Day 2

Day 2 – ERFOUD/MERZOUGA -TOUR ERG CHEBBI DUNES – TAMRDANITE – KHAMLIA HASSI EL-BIED ( 3 HOURS’ DRIVE DURING YOUR JOURNEY)

After our luxury breakfast in your riad . We will first travel through the sand-sea dunes near the Algerian border, where you will have a chance to take photos and see the black volcanic rocks. We will also have the opportunity to meet a nomadic family and learn about their nomadic lifestyle. We will pass close to tiny Berber villages, like Tamrdanite before we reach Khamlia. In the tiny desert village of Khamlia, we will be treated to a performance of Gnawa music, a spiritual and hypnotic form of music played for centuries by the black people here.

Day 3

Day 3 – ERG CHEBBI – RISSANI MARKET – ERRACHIDDIA AIRPORT

Set your alarm to wake up early this morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the dunes! It is a moment not to be missed. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious breakfast before we continue our adventure by car to the city of Rissani, the former capital of the Alawite Sultans. Rissani was once an important market for caravans traveling the sub-Saharan region, and it is still an impressive market to visit today. We will take a walk through the local market and traditional souk. We will also see the ruins of Sijilmassa, the Moulay Ali Cherif Gate, and visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, where the father of the founder of the Alawite Dynasty is buried…Having lunch in Rissani then we drive yu to Errachiddia to couch your flight back to Marrakech.

Day 3 – Boumalen Dades – Todgha Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will head toward Merzouga, stopping first at the spectacular Todgha Gorge where you can take a walk along the gorge floor between the canyon walls. We will then continue across the valley to Tinjdad, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will drive via Erfoud, where we will visit an amazing fossil factory and learn how they excavate, polish, and shape trilobites, orthoceras, ammonites, and other fossils into beautiful objects. We will continue on to Merzouga and the Dunes Luxury Camp at the foot of Sahara Desert dunes. Each tent is beautifully appointed and the entire camp is the ultimate in “glamping.” Here you will get ready for your next adventure; camel trekking! You will ride these Ships of the Desert into the heart of the Sahara, witnessing a spectacular sunset through the dunes. Day 4

Day 4 – Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

We will stop for lunch in Ouarzazate and then continue on to Marrakech by crossing the high Atlas Mountain through the pass of Tizi n’Tichka.

Day 5 – Marrakech – Tour of the City with a Local Guide

Today, after breakfast you will have a full day to tour and discover Marrakech, the famous Red City. Your guide will take you to the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech, including the 19th century Bahia Palace, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Gardens. You will have lunch in the Medina and also have an opportunity to visit the famous Souks, where the merchants sell everything from leather and carpets to spices and jewelry. Jemaa el-Fnaa is perhaps the most famous town square on earth. From ancient times until today, tradesmen, snake charmers, acrobats, magicians, mystics, musicians, and monkey trainers have populated this UNESCO World Heritage site…..later on we transfer you to the airport at your flight time .

Day 1

Casablanca – Rabat

You arrive at Casablanca airport, where we will meet you and drive to Casablanca, and then to Rabat. In Casablanca, you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque outside Mecca. Continuing to Rabat; the capital of Morocco – you will see the Hassan Tower and walk the Oudaya Kasbah before you check in to your riad . Bed and breakfast included.

Day 2

Visit Rabat – Chefchaouen

After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to Chefchaouen via the city of Asilah. Most of the drive will be by the coast. Our first stop will be in Asilah, where you will have the opportunity to explore the city. Asilah is known for it annual festival for the art – most of the walls of the Medina is painted by various famous artists from all over the world. Your visit includes the Skalla fortress, where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the ocean. If time permits, you will have a drive through Tanger to get a feel of the city. Afterwards you will continue over the foothills of the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Overnight at your Moroccan authentic riad includes Bed and Breakfast.

Day 3

Exploring Chefchaouen

After breakfast in your riad, you will start exploring Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City of Morocco. With its blue-washed houses, narrow cobbled streets, and mountainous backdrop, Chefchaouen begs to be photographed! Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain, and its architecture shows a heavy Spanish and Moorish influence. As you stroll through the winding streets and azure walls of the medina, be sure to take note of the many men wearing woolen Djellabas and the women in colorful straw hats. You will have lunch in a local restaurant with time to shop for local handicrafts, such as wool garments and woven blankets, in the main square of the medina. Overnight in your riad include Bed and Breakfast.

Day 4

Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

This morning after breakfast, we will travel to the nearby city Meknes, the third Imperial city of Morocco. Meknes is known as “The Versailles of Morocco,” for its elaborately decorated gateways. We will visit the Bab El Khamis and Bab El Mansour, two of the most beautiful gateways, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later on, we will head to the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. We will stop here for lunch. Afterward we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city dates from the third century BC and is amazingly well preserved, including several mosaics. After this visit, we will continue our drive toward Fes where you will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 5

Fes, Tour of the City with a Local Guide

After breakfast you will start your journey to the most amazing places in Fes. We will visit the medina, the old city with its ramparts and alleys, and the famous medieval tanneries. We will also explore the Karaouine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihri and considered the most magnificent and historic religious attraction in the city. After a break for lunch, we will discover the superb architecture of the Merenid Tomb, the Madrasa Bou Inania, the Al-Attarin Madrasa, and the Neijarin Fountain. We will also visit a donkey Fondouk and a souk known for handcrafts, edible goods, copperware, and pottery. You will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 6

Fez – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast we will leave Fez toward Merzouga passing through Ifran, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its architecture and climate. You will be enchanted by the cedar forests of Azrou and its friendly monkeys. We will stop for lunch at Midelt and afterwards continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains and past the nomads that live there. The views are both spectacular and varied; thick forests, volcanic rock, soaring cliffs and valleys of palm trees. In the town of Erfoud, we will visit an amazing fossil factory and learn how they excavate, polish, and shape Trilobites, Orthoceras, Ammonites, and other fossils into beautiful objects. We will continue on to Merzouga .Bed, breakfast and dinner in your riad.

Day 7

Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Tamrdanite – Khamlia Hassi El-Bied

We will then go on to visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Day 1

Tangier – Chefchaouen (3 Hours Drive Road)

We will meet you in Tangier AIRPORT or Tangier MED and drive to the nearest city, Chefchaouen, situated in the Rif Mountains.The views of the valley and villages are panoramic and breathtaking. Chefchaouen is famous for its bright blue-washed buildings. It is spectacularly photogenic! As you stroll through the narrow cobbled streets and azure walls of the medina, you will notice most men wearing Djellabas made of wool and many women wearing colorful straw hats. You will have lunch in a local restaurant with time to shop for local handicrafts, such as wool garments and woven blankets, in the main square of the medina. You will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 2

Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes (4 Hours Drive Road)

This morning after breakfast, we will travel to the nearby city Meknes, the third Imperial city of Morocco. Meknes is known as “The Versailles of Morocco,” for its elaborately decorated gateways. We will visit the Bab El Khamis and Bab El Mansour, two of the most beautiful gateways, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later on, we will head to the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. We will stop here for lunch. Afterward we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city dates from the third century BC and is amazingly well preserved, including several mosaics. After this visit, we will continue our drive toward Fes where you will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 3

Fes, Tour of the City with a Local Guide

After breakfast in your riad, we will drive to Chefchaouen via the city of Asilah. Most of the drive will be by the coast. Our first stop will be in Asilah, where you will have the opportunity to explore the city. Asilah is known for it annual festival for the art – most of the walls of the Medina is painted by various famous artists from all over the world. Your visit includes the Skalla fortress, where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the ocean. If time permits, you will have a drive through Tanger to get a feel of the city. Afterwards you will continue over the foothills of the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Overnight at your Moroccan authentic riad includes Bed and Breakfast.

Day 4

Fez – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Merzouga (5 Hours Drive Road)

After breakfast we will leave Fez toward Merzouga passing through Ifran, known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its architecture and climate. You will be enchanted by the cedar forests of Azrou and its friendly monkeys. We will stop for lunch at Midelt and afterwards continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains and past the nomads that live there. The views are both spectacular and varied; thick forests, volcanic rock, soaring cliffs and valleys of palm trees. In the town of Erfoud, we will visit an amazing fossil factory and learn how they excavate, polish, and shape Trilobites, Orthoceras, Ammonites, and other fossils into beautiful objects. We will continue on to Merzouga .Bed, breakfast and dinner in your riad.

Day 5

Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Tamrdanite – Khamlia Hassi El-Bied (2 Hours Drive Road)

In the morning after breakfast, your excursion will start from the tents taking you through the sand-sea dunes near the Algerian border where you will have a chance to take photos and see the black volcanic rocks. We will also have the opportunity to meet a nomad family and learn about their nomadic lifestyle. We will pass close to tiny Berber villages, like Tamrdanite, before we reach Khamlia. In the tiny desert village of Khamlia, we will be treated to a performance of Gnawa music, a spiritual and hypnotic form of music that has been played for centuries by the black people who live here.

Day 6

Erg Chebbi – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Todgha Gorges – Boumalne Dades (3- 4 Hours Drive Road)

Set your alarm to wake up early this morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the dunes! It is a moment not to be missed. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious breakfast before we continue our adventure by car to the city of Rissani, the former capital of the Alawite Sultans. Rissani was once an important market for caravans traveling the sub-Saharan region, and it is still an impressive market to visit today. We will take a walk through the local market and traditional souk.

Day 7

Dades Valley – Boutghrar – El Kelaa M’gouna – Skoura – Ourzazate (4 Hours Drive Road)

After breakfast, we will begin our journey through the valley of Dades, enjoying its beautiful vistas. Next, we will take you for a drive over the wonderful Pist Mil Kasbah, accessible only by 4×4, passing by quaint Berber villages, such as Boutghrar. You will have the opportunity to meet some Berber nomads who live in the caves there. We then continue to El Kelaa M’gouna (the Valley of Roses), where roses are grown and processed into perfumes, oils, and lotions, and where you will have a break for lunch. We will head to Ourzazate by crossing the beautiful palm grove oasis in Skoura, where you will see many exotic Kasbahs, such as the Amerhidil Kasbah. When we reach Ourzazate, you will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 8

Ourzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Tizi N’Tichka Pass – Marrakech (4 Hours Drive Road)

After your breakfast, we will depart for Marrakech. Our first stop will be at the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next we will visit Atlas Studios, the largest movie studio in the world and host to such famous films and television shows as Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King, Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Aladdin, as well as several James Bond and Jason Bourne movies. After a break for lunch, we will drive through the Tizi N’Tichka Pass which offers superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and small Berber villages. You will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan riad, with bed and breakfast included.

Day 9

Marrakech, Tour of the City with a Local Guide

Today, after breakfast you will have a full day to tour and discover Marrakech, the famous Red City. Your guide will take you to the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech, including the 19th century Bahia Palace, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Gardens. You will have lunch in the Medina and also have an opportunity to visit the famous Souks, where the merchants sell everything from leather and carpets to spices and jewelry. Jemaa el-Fnaa is perhaps the most famous town square on earth. From ancient times until today, tradesmen, snake charmers, acrobats, magicians, mystics, musicians, and monkey trainers have populated this UNESCO World Heritage site. You will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan riad, with bed and breakfast included.

Day 10

Marrakech – Essaouira (3.5 Hours Drive Road)

This morning after breakfast, we will leave the imperial city of Marrakech for the coastal city of Essaouira, famous for its beautiful fortress, the Gnaoua Music Festival and international windsurfing competitions. Essaouira is renowned for its kitesurfing and windsurfing, since the powerful trade winds blow almost constantly onto the protected, waveless bay. Essaouira is also a center of Argan oil production. It has become a tourist attraction due to the tree-climbing goats who are unique to the region, as Argan trees are the only type the goats climb. With its animated port, colorful marketplace and history of artists seeking inspiration, Essaouira is full of life, full of light, and full of magic. You will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan riad, with bed and breakfast included.

Day 11

Essaouira – Chichaoua – Marrakech. (3.5 Hours Drive Road)

After breakfast we will drive you out of Essaouira about 20 Km to one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in Morocco called “Sidi Kaouki” to enjoy a half day of swimming and relaxing. We will have a delicious seaside lunch there and later on we will drive back to Marrakech. Overnight with bed and breakfast in your Riad.

Day 12

Marrakesh to your FLIGHT TIME

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport at your flight time.

Day 1

Casablanca – Fes

We will meet you at the airport in Casablanca (Your Flights should be arriving early in the morning to give you enough time to visit Mosque of Hassan II ,before traveling to Fes ….) and take you on a short tour of the largest city in Morocco, the heart of its commerce and industry. We will also visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. Jutting out into the cool sea breezes of the Atlantic, the building blends Islamic architecture with Moroccan elements, including ornately carved wood, elaborate mosaic tiling and enormous marble pillars. We will stop for lunch and then continue on to Fes, where you will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan riad, with bed and breakfast included.

Day 2

Fes

After breakfast you will start your journey to the most amazing places in Fes. We will visit the Medina, the old city with its ramparts and alleys, and the famous medieval tanneries. We will also explore the Karaouine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihri and considered the most magnificent and historic religious attraction in the city. After a break for lunch, we will explore the superb architecture of the Merenid Tomb, the Madrasa Bou Inania, the Al-Attarin Madrasa, and the Neijarin Fountain. We will also visit a donkey Fondouk and a souk known for handcrafts, edible goods, copperware, and pottery. You will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 3

Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Midelt

Day 1

Marrakech-Tizi N’tichka Pass-Ait Benhaddou-Ouarzazate-Kelaa M’gouna-Boumalne Dades -Tinghir-Erfoud- Desert

We pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech around 07:00 Am , and departure to Ait Benhaddou over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude), visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant along the way, later we will drive to Ouarzazate and stop near the atlas film studios for a photo then continue to the city center for a panoramic view of the Kasbah of Taourirt, Kalaa M’gouna, Boumalne du Dades, along with a panoramic view of Dades valley. Later on, we will continue to Todra gorges via Imider and Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyon views, later on, continue to Tinejdad and have then Erfoud. We will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.

Day 2

Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) – Marrakech

After enjoying the amazing sunrise among the sand dunes and having breakfast, you ride back your Camels to the Auberge. You will travel back directly to Marrakech and have few stops on the way. Enjoying your lunch then continue to the red city of Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Arrival to Marrakech and Drop off in your accommodation in Marrakech. End of 2 days Merzouga desert tour.

Day 1

Casablanca Airport – Rabat

Arrive at the airport early morning, we will pick you up from the airport and drive you to the City of Casablanca, you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the biggest out of Mecca, experience the Cornish seaside, as you will visit the Jewish Museum, If you have time and energy, see the gates of the Royal Palace and the French-built Quartier Habous. Visit the ‘new mullah’, home to most of Morocco’s Jewish community, and the Bet El Synagogue. Later Check in and overnight in your hotel.

Day 2

Rabat – Ouzzane – Chefchaouen

After a luxury breakfast at your accommodation we will drive you to Rabat explore the capital of Morocco. Here you’ll see the Mosoleum, the Hassan tower and the Oudaya Kasbah. Afterwards, travel to Chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan. Here you will learn some history about Amram ben Diwan was a venerated 18th-century rabbi whose tomb has become the site of an annual pilgrimage. His burial place in Ouazzane became a pilgrimage site and is regularly visited, particularly by people who invoke him to heal their illness. Born in Jerusalem, he soon moved to Hebron in 1743 and was sent to Morocco in order to collect donations for the Holy land from the Jewish community there.

Day 3

Explore Chefchaouen

After breakfast in your hotel you will start exploring the Medina. Chefchaouen is a beautiful unique city with its white washed walls and its blue doors, and windows. Unlike many parts of Morocco, Chefchaouen was occupied by Spain; therefore there is much influence of the Spanish civilization and architecture. Visiting the Mellah of Chefchaouen get more populated with more jews after the Spanish Reconquista during the 15th Century. You have the opportunity to meet locals and walk in this beautiful Medina. Overnight in your Riad. Bed and breakfast included.

Day 4

Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast in the hotel, and after exploring the city of Chefchaouen we travel south via Ouazzan towards to Volubilis, the well preserved Roman empire dating to 225BC, where some mosaics as still in very good shape, after that we travel to Meknes, the ismaili capital of Morocco. In Meknes we see the fascinating gate Bab Mansour built by the sultan My Ismail, the granary and the Sahrij Souani used for irrigation and plantation. We continue via the highway to Fes. Overnight accommodation in your riad located in the heart of the old Medina. Bed and breakfast included.

Day 5

Fes Guided Walking Tour

After breakfast in your riad , you will start an explorative journey of the cultural capital of Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarter, and the Synagougue Ibn Dannon, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University,the oldest in the region, and the Tanneries. After lunch, you will visit the ceramic factory and have a panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. On the afternoon, we will visit the new city for a drink. Overnight accommodation in your riad. Bed and breakfast included.

Day 6

Day 6 – Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Errachidia – Merzouga

After breakfast in your riad, you’ll leave Fes traveling towards Ifran, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and then to Merzouga via Azrou and the Ziz Valley. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbary apes. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach teh city of Errachidia. Your journey continues to Merzouga via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the luxuriant Ziz Valley , stopping for panoramic views along the way. Arrive to Merzouga at the end of the afternoon. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check into your Riad. Bed and breakfast included.

Day 7

Merzouga desert – Camel Trekking – Ovenight in luxury Berber tents

After breakfast in the riad you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. On the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand sea of Merzouga. Enjoy a wonderful sunset over the golden dunes and overnight at the desert camp, equipped with flash toilets Bed and breakfast included.

Day 8

Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

You will wake up early to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards you will trek back to the village of Merzouga, enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After breakfast in your riad, you’ll leave for the Dades Valley, visiting Todra Gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch within the valley, you will have an optional hour’s hike through the fields where you will enjoy visiting an old mud village, meet locals and learn about the culture. On through Dades Valley, where you will have the opportunity to see majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Day 9

Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech

Today, we will travel to Marrakech through the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaa Mgouna, “the rose city”, and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; the Kasbah was built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th century, now a house of many Glaoui people. Your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains, before ending at your accommodation in Marrakech. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad. BB

Marrakech tour and visit with local guide

After breakfast in the riad , you can start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest, including the Saadien tombs; the Palaces of El Bahia and El Badi; and the Ben Youssef Coranique School. Lunch at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon visit the gardens at Majorelle; Menara and the Koutoubia tower. as we will see the Synagougue Lazama and see the Mellah with the Jewish Cimetary, After dinner you will have the opportunity to walk around the ‘Square Jemaa El Fna’ full with magicians, story tellers, snake charmers and food sellers. Day 11

Marrakech – Chichaoua – Essaouira

After Breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech we will travel to Essaouira. After several stops for pictures , and since this is the land of Argan culture – this is an opportunity to visit the women’s co- operative of Argan oil where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties. Bed and Breakfast at your Riad.

Day 12

Explore Essaouira

After Breakfast at your riad, then start exploring the city. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress, the port, the souks and see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the Medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. Essaouira is known for its strong winds most of the year so it is known as the “City of the wind” thus it attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantics”. Your visit includes the Mellah – the Jewish headquarter, see the new and old Synagougues, Chaim Pinto and Lakhal, as you can visit the Cimetary as well. There is an annual festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world

Essaouira – Casablanca

In the morning after breakfast, your excursion will start from your Riad taking you through the sand-sea dunes near the Algerian border where you will have a chance to take photos and see the black volcanic rocks. We will also have the opportunity to meet a nomad family and learn about their nomadic lifestyle. We will pass close to tiny Berber villages, like Tamrdanite, before we reach Khamlia. In the tiny desert village of Khamlia, we will be treated to a performance of Gnawa music, a spiritual and hypnotic form of music that has been played for centuries by the black people who live here.

Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Todgha Gorge – Boumalne Dades

Today the camel man (trekker) will wake you up before dawn to see a spectacular sunrise in the desert by camel. After, you will return to the camp to have your breakfast, shower and pack up before we continue our adventure by car to the city of Rissani, the former capital of the Alawite Sultans. Rissani was once an important market for caravans traveling the sub-Saharan region, and it is still an impressive market to visit today. We will take a walk through the local market and traditional souk. We will also see the ruins of Sijilmassa, the Moulay Ali Cherif Gate, and visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, where the father of the founder of the Alawite Dynasty is buried.

After your breakfast, we will depart for Essaouira. First we will visit Atlas Studios, the largest movie studio in the world and host to such famous films and television shows as Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King, Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Aladdin, as well as several James Bond and Jason Bourne movies. Next we will stop at the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, an amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site. After driving through the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, which offers superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and small Berber villages, we will stop in one of these villages, Teddart, for lunch. You will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan Riad, with dinner and breakfast included.

Today, after breakfast you will have a full day to tour and discover Marrakech, the famous Red City. Your guide will take you to the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech, including the 19th century Bahia Palace, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Gardens. You will have lunch in the Medina and also have an opportunity to visit the famous Souks, where the merchants sell everything from leather and carpets to spices and jewelry. Jemaa el-Fnaa is perhaps the most famous town square on earth. From ancient times until today, tradesmen, snake charmers, acrobats, magicians, mystics, musicians, and monkey trainers have populated this UNESCO World Heritage site. Day 1

Casablanca – Fes

Meeting you at the airport in Casablanca and take you in a short trip to visit the largest city in Morocco it is the heart of commerce and industry, you will visit Hassan II mosque built on water alongside the Atlantic Ocean, later on we continue our road toward Fes.

Accommodation: RIAD LA KLEY DU FES , PALAIS HOYAM……or Similar.

Day 2

Fes

After breakfast you will start your journey to the most amazing places in Fes. We will visit the Medina, the old city with its ramparts and alleys, and the famous medieval tanneries. We will also explore the Karaouine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihri and considered the most magnificent and historic religious attraction in the city. After a break for lunch, we will explore the superb architecture of the Merenid Tomb, the Madrasa Bou Inania, the Al-Attarin Madrasa, and the Neijarin Fountain. We will also visit a donkey Fondouk and a souk known for handcrafts, edible goods, copperware, and pottery. You will stay overnight in an authentic Moroccan Riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 3

Day Trip from Fez To Chafchaouen

This morning, we will pick you up from your hotel or Riad very earlier. Our driver will be driving you across the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen city. You will have enough time for exploring the charming town of Chaouen. The old city of Chefchaouen is placed in the Mountains. is famous for its bright blue-washed buildings. Once you are there, you can wander through its narrow cobbled streets and walls to admire the views. Enjoy an optional lunch in a local restaurant. In the main square, you will see the shops full of local handicrafts; such as wool costumes, woven blankets and also painting. After the visit of the Blue Pearl of Morocco, we will drive you back to Fes.

Day 4

Fez- Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast we will leave Midelt and continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains and past the nomads that live there. The views are both spectacular and varied; high cliffs and deep valleys, thick forests, volcanic rock, soaring cliffs and valleys of palm trees. In the town of Erfoud, we will visit an amazing fossil factory and learn how they excavate, polish, and shape Trilobites, Orthoceras, Ammonites, and other fossils into beautiful objects. We will continue on to Merzouga and the Dunes Luxury Camp at the foot of Sahara Desert dunes. Each tent is beautifully appointed and the entire camp is the ultimate in “glamping.” Tonight you will enjoy Berber food, listen to the drums under a starry night sky, and sleep in your gorgeous tent in peace and tranquility.

Day 5

Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Todgha Gorge – Boumalne Dades

Today the camel man (trekker) will wake you up before dawn to see a spectacular sunrise in the desert by camel. After, you will return to the camp to have your breakfast, shower and pack up before we continue our adventure by car to the city of Rissani, the former capital of the Alawite Sultans. Rissani was once an important market for caravans traveling the sub-Saharan region, and it is still an impressive market to visit today. We will take a walk through the local market and traditional souk. We will also see the ruins of Sijilmassa, the Moulay Ali Cherif Gate, and visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, where the father of the founder of the Alawite Dynasty is buried.

Day 6

Skoura Oasis – Ourzazate – Ait Benhaddo – Pass Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakech (170 KM)

After your breakfast, we will depart for Marrakech. Our first stop will be Atlas Studios, the largest movie studio in the world and host to such famous films and television shows as Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be King, Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Aladdin, as well as several James Bond and Jason Bourne movies. We will then go on to visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the exotic Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. We will drive through the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass while enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. We will stop along the way to have lunch in a Berber village called”Teddart” before your arrival in Marrakech.

Day 7

Marrakech – Tour of the City with a Local Guide

Today, after breakfast you will have a full day to tour and discover Marrakech, the famous Red City. Your guide will take you to the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech, including the 19th century Bahia Palace, the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Gardens. You will have lunch in the Medina and also have an opportunity to visit the famous Souks, where the merchants sell everything from leather and carpets to spices and jewelry. Jemaa el-Fnaa is perhaps the most famous town square on earth. From ancient times until today, tradesmen, snake charmers, acrobats, magicians, mystics, musicians, and monkey trainers have populated this UNESCO World Heritage site. You will spend the night at an authentic Moroccan Riad, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 8

Marrakesh to your FLIGHT TIME

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport at your flight time.
